On February 12th, 2005 EWAGS held its Favorite Fellow Valentines Day Dance for Daisies through Juniors to attend with their Dad, Grandad, Uncle, etc. More than 100 people showed up for the event and had a wonderful time. All of the girls received a rose corsage at the beginning of the dance and had their picture taken with their Favorite Fellow. The girls were then invited to decorate a Polaroid frame so they could display their photo to commemorate the evening. Snacks included candy, chips, cupcakes, and of course, Girl Scout Cookies.

Several girls were the winners of Valentines Day bracelets, Blockbuster Gift Cards and plush teddy bears. Two lucky winners won $20.00 Gift Cards to Target!

A huge Thank You goes out to Debbie Cohen for organizing the DJ, games and prizes for this event, and a even bigger thank you to all of those Dads who came out to support Girl Scouts! We couldn’t have done it without you!

Many of the parents in attendance thanked us for including the Dads in Girl Scout activities and having the dance. Because of the positive feedback, we are hoping to plan another Favorite Fellow activity next year. If you’d like to coordinate this event, please contact our Service Unit Director.
