On June 3-5th, EWAGS held it's semi-annual Service Unit Camp Out. The girls from Troop 913 had a great time cooking, hosting a Sister-Troop Tie-Dye party with Brownie Troop 658, and enjoying all else that Camp Sacajawea has to offer. Rather than spending the entire day playing and hiking, the girls spent three hours helping out Ranger Ron by volunteering to paint the ends of the platform tents. They successfully painted almost 20 tents in three campsites, including Oneida, Cayuga and Apache before their painting sponges met an untimely demise.
If you would like to give Ranger Ron a hand on your next camping trip to Sac, give Vicky Allen a call at Girl Scout Council so you too can help upkeep the camp that we love!
